Finalist for 'Inspiring STEM
Educator of the Year' for the UK Ed Community
I believe students from primary to A-level should feel confident, less anxious and to ultimately enjoy Science within and beyond the classroom.
During my 11 years working in education, I have taught in primary and secondary schools in Oxford, Northampton and Kent as well as tutoring all three Science subjects, including Biology to A-level - putting to good use my Biology with Science Communications degree from Royal Holloway University in London and PGCE Science teaching qualification from Oxford University.
I have also been fortunate to work with many education outreach businesses ranging from creating games to get secondary kids into town planning at RTPI, to presenting with snakes to groups of primary school children at London Zoo to creating engaging real world content for Twig Education.
In my spare time, I love creating at home science experiments with my little one using my STEM Ambassador skills and experience.
I am based in Kent and also available for remote sessions across the UK and beyond and work under the name of RSA Discovery. I look forward to working with you soon!
